Updating to iOS 6: Will it make my iPhone 4s slower?

Hello people, i was wondering if I should update to iOS6. If anyone has an iPhone 4s and has updated to iOS6, did it make a difference in speed? Does it make it faster or slower? I'm currently on 5.1.1 but I'm afraid if I update it it might make my iPhone 4s slower.
