Only if you like editing photos on your iPad. And, if you start to play with that, there are tons of apps, some better, some not and many free that can do a lot of the same things. I've never used iPhoto - I just use my iPad to view photos and the only editing I do is fix the occasional red eye. I have a free app called photo pad that works quite well.


You could always try just playing with a free app, then if you really get into it, upgrade to a paid app like iPhoto
