Apple Mail question

I use Apple Mail on my Macbook. My wife and I are both listed on the account. Mail sent to me (either from others or forwarded by me at work to my home email) almost always arrive in her name. This happens more often than not when I send an email and get a reply. No big deal, but confusing to some folks. How do I correct this or do we need two separate accounts?
