Please help a non-techi with Web Sharing on M. Lion

I have been using Apache to test my webpages created using .php - then I upgraded to Mountain Lion and there is no tick box for websharing. All the various articles I read litter the answers with jargon and suggest using Terminal which I have barely looked at. If this is really necessary I would appreciate a VERY simple, step by step solution.

Help!
