How can I add songs,If I can't use the drag and drop method?

Nothing seems to work.

On iTunes 11, go to the top left hand corner to the pull down bar. Click "show menu bar". When it appears, go to View--> SHOW SIDEBAR. Then it magically looks like previous versions of iTunes, where you can drag and drop songs, manually delete from iPod, etc. Took me FOREVER to figure out and read through tons of forums. I even tried calling Apple to see if they would walk me through it and they wouldn't help me unless I purchased Apple Care... good thing I didn't. Hope this helps!!!

Step 1: Click on the Ipod button in the top right corner. (Make sure Ipod/AnyAppleDevice is connected)

Step 2: In the top right corner again there should be a blue button that says "Done" and then right underneath that there should be something that says "Add to..." click on that.

Step 3: After you click on that it should look something like this (picture below). So from here is where you can add music to your ipod/itouch/ipad/AnyAppleDevice. Also in the top left corner where it says "Music", you can click on that and change the types of media (Music/Movies/TV Shows/Podcasts/Apps) to add to your device.

I hope I answered your question with this.

I Found A Fix 🙂 10 Easy Steps

1st...Add Folder To Library...."My Music"...The Music You Want To Put On Your Ipod Should Be In This Folder*

2nd...After Folder Is Added, All Your Music Should Show In Itunes 🙂

3rd...Then If You Don't Have Sidebar In Itunes, Hold CTRL+S.....Just Easier With Sidebar

4th...Click On Your Device

5th...The Summary Tab At The Top Right Will Be Selected, Click On The Music Tab, Then Click Sync Music

6th...Select The Box That Says "Entire Music Library" A Box Should Pop Up That Says "Erase And Sync?"

7th...Click Erase And Sync" Your Music Will Sync To Your Device

8th...If You Want To Keep Some Songs That Are Already On Your Device...Make Sure They Are In Your "My Music" Folder...Otherwise They Will Be Erased 😟

9th...This Fix Is Pretty Much For People That Want To Erase Their Music On Their Device And Sync New Music

To Their Device

10th...Hope This Helps 🙂
