continuous kernel panics

i have a mid 2010 macbook pro 13". recently upgraded to 8gb of mac notebook memory (two sticks of four, from 2 sticks of 2 that was stock) i keep getting kernel panics that either shut down safari or shutdown my system entirely. this is one of the many panic logs i have. i also ran apples hardware test and got a 4MEM/62/40000000:0xa96d7c98 error. i have since swapped the RAM in each port to verify if it is the port that has failed, or if the RAM itself is faulty.

my graphics card is also mentioned quite a bit in the log, i still have warranty so i'm hopeful that anything wrong can be solved thorugh the extended warranty or it is just the new RAM i purchased. any clues?

Here's the log:

i haven't run the hardware test again. i am planning on it when i get home in 2 hours. but without even re-running the memory test, before i left for work, i had safari kernel panic twice this morning and crash on netflix/ if i open several browsing windows. After which i became frustrated and left this morning.

another thing to note, my external harddrive was beginning to fill up and i required some of the back up space so i: [all of this is sequential]

1) put in this new RAM

2) plugged my computer into a brand new samsung 350 led 24" display using a mini to HDMI adapter

3) removed all my back ups off my external drive

4) went to re-back up my entire hard drive as one fresh back up (which is half the size of all the previous backups combined)

when i went to do #4 is the first time i ever received a kernel panic message. after having about 9 panics and several safari panics i have thusly unplugged the monitor and adapter, as well as my external drives and the kernel panics continued to persist.

i then did the hardware test as well as a disc repair. then chose to switch the RAM around in the ports last night.

this is where the safari kernel panics happened this morning.

once i return home i will run the test again with the RAM in the opposite ports liek they are situated now. but safari has already gone through two kernel panics without me even running the hardward test yet, so i suspect the RAM may be the issue unless i somehow messed up a RAM port.

is it possible for a display to overload your graphics card even if it is mac compatible? i had it in 1080P as well as resolutions above my computers regular resolution but only in clamshell mode.
