I recently moved all my photos from iphoto to Aperture. I had several iphoto books and cards in my project file. When everything was moved to Aperture I can't find any of the books or card projects. Are they gone or can they be restored?

1 - in order to give an accurate answer it would be important to know exactly how you "moved" all of your photos

2 - are you trying to use them in iPhoto? If so then if you "moved" the photos correctly nothing will have changed in iPhoto

3 - if you are trying to use them in Aperature then you need to ask ab=out how to use Aperature in the Aperature forum as it does not involve iPhoto

I moved the entire library according to the directions given in Aperture essentially transferring the entire iphoto library in one event. After the transfer iphoto was empty.

Unaware of any such directions in Aperture. But as you hosed the iPhoto Library they got hosed too.

2 - the question was "are you trying to use them in iPhoto? " - it sounds like you are - to do so you will have to export them from Aperature and import into iPhoto

3 - for information on how to use them in Aperature then you need to ask about how to use Aperature in the Aperature forum as it does not involve iPhoto
