I have a short video at 24fps and 720x480 in .AVI format that I previously made with Adobe Premiere Pro on a PC. I get a "required CODEC isn't available" message when I try to open it with QT on my new MAC. What to do?

I have a short video at 24fps and 720x480 size in .AVI created with Adobe PremierePro on a PC. It won't open in QT on my new MAC; I get a "codec required isn't available" message. What to do?
