I have recently bought a keyboard (m-audio oxygenate 88), I have connected it in my mac book pro but i can't record anything. Although the garage band recognize the input, nothing comes from the speaker or during the recording.
GarageBand (Mac) '11, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
Assuming you have a midi (not audio) connection: are you recording to a software instrument track?
I listen the sound of my keyboard through the garageband
