What happened to "SAVE AS" in pages & numbers?

If you use Lion or Mountain Lion, you won't see Save As option. Hold Option key, select File and Save As will show

That will only work in Mountain Lion not Lion.

Apple introduced Auto Saving in Lion along with Versions and removed Save As from the menu.

Menu > File > Duplicate > Save the duplicate with new name

does much the same thing as Save as.

He/she is using Lion, so it will work in her/his mac

No Mountain Lion is the version where you can hold down the Option key to see Save As again.
