Why on iPad2 no more personal hotspot like by ios 4.33?????
I take iPad 2 only about personal hotspot and FaceTime my wife.
But now I can't more use it for connect my NetBook to internet. How I can go back
To ios 4.3.3 where was present personal hotspot on my ipad2 ????????????

I see, for apple import only our money not we are happy with our product????????????
Or same where can tell me why there sell FaceTime now also on MacAppStore if all OsX have FaceTime include ??????????

The personal hotspot feature is a Carrier controlled feature. Apple does not in any way inhibit the feature, however if the carrier associated with it does not allow hotspot it will not be available.
Talk to your cellular carrier instead of blaming apple for something that is mostly out of their control.
Hahn no so try to explain me why if use iOS 4.3.3 I have personal hotspot and by iOS 5 or iOS 6 not more same Carrier???????????

Sorry phill I not want attack you. I check all by "Vodafone" there tell me by me all service for Internet are open like before for Vodafone I never must update my iPad 2 for still have personal hotspot. That was answer from Vodafone Italy

Everything I can find says it should be there. There's no mentioning of official removal I can find.
Its either a limitation placed on the service, by the carrier, or maybe the actual hardware failure, and as it can't find it iOS autmatically disables the option.
I don't believe its something deliberately done by Apple.

My error was only I never jailbreak my iPad2 for save shsh for downgrade it back to iOS 4.3.3 so I make photo by my friend he never update about he see by me I lose personal hotspot.

From one fanboy to another. Believe it! It's done deliberately. Hotspot is only available to ipad3 and above. IMO apple believes everyone should buy a new product as soon as its out. Thank you for your money and here's your shiny new toy.
The truth: you need to BUY ipad 3 to have personal hotspot ==> For this I think I am begining to DISLIKE Apple.

I am a heavy user, that I use iphone ipad2 ipad3 imac mac mini etc...
Just found that ipad2 does not have personal hotspot, that I dislike.
Transfering photos form old to new device (I do not use icloud) through itune is troublesome.
New features are only implemented in new expensive product.
I think it is time for to think of other brand samsung.
