Shuffle button

Why did Apple decide to move the shuffle/repeat etc button to a drop down menu instead of keeping a button for it? Bloody frustrating

I meant the drop down menu under 'Controls' up the top

I have now found a new shuffle button at the top of the column browser to the right of the playlist name

I think I must be getting too old. I'm really getting tired of these constant useless changes they keep making to Itunes.

Had to have a whinge..lol...Sorry for disturbing people.

Cheers.

The shuffle button (and the play button) you found next to the name of the playlist are just for that playlist. They will start that playlist playing in the appropriate mode.

Then control moves up a step to the Control Bar right across the very top of the window.

On the left, Pause/Play, volume slider. In the center, Repeat, Shuffle, Up Next and the progress bar.

The same for the ALBUMS, ARTISTS, GENRES. A Play button and a Shuffle button
