why can't my iPhone hook up with my airport express
I added a password to my Airport express. Now I can't hook up my iPhone to the airport express, same for my iPad.

Did you tap to "forget" the connections on your iPhone and iPad and set up a new connection on each device?
If you did not, the iPhone and iPad are remembering how to connect without a password, so they do not know how to connect with a password.
Tap to "Forget This Connection" under Settings > WiFi and then set up a new connection again using the password.
