I just got a fullscreen message on my Iphone 4 with the text "you have been donated by Oxfam GB Organization sum of £1,000,000 For claim contact Mrs. flora Omatis....." And at the button of the screen thereis an ok button.
What is this, an virus?

You can't get a virus unless your phone is jailbroken.
My Iphone is not jailbroken.
And it was not a text message or a SMS.

Dude, This isnt any virus.
Its just a hoax message many people are getting..
So dont worry, ignore/delete the message

I did not pressed the ok button, I did a hard reset on the Phone, and then the "popup" was gone.
I cant find it anywhere. Not in the Email Client or iMessages...

I think it is something else than a SMS or a Email... It blocked the hole screen, and I had to make a Hard reset to get rid of it.
I have uploaded a screenshoot of the message and I dont look like a SMS or notification. I look more like a App.

I just had The same experience. Swiped the phone to open it this morning and the screen displays a typical hoax text (you have won a million dollars, hurray !) But how does this happen? Is it an app that somehow takes over the screen?

were you in a web browser? its just a stupid pop-up then.

One other odd thing is that the vibrator buzzed when I recived the messages and I dont think you can activate the feature from a webpage. (via javascript evt.)
So my guess is that it is some sort of an App triggering this Messages.

I got the same one (I am from DK too), but I didn't pay proper attention so I accidentally pressed OK - just catching the glimps of Oxfam and Flora before it was gone.
As far as I can gather, it is a 'flash sms' (https://www.jitbesked.dk/secure/show_help20.php?hlp=flash_messages.inc - in Danish), and they are suppose disappear when the phone is opened again - no clue if and where they potentially are stored.
So, how bad will I pay for my lack of attention, i.e. will my iPhone slowly crumble do to malware sice I pressed OK?

Power the phone off, or you can do a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Your phone cannot be infected with a virus as stated before unless you have jailbroken the phone.
