I think he is looking for the method to add videos to the "Home Videos" category one sees in the middle top of the iTunes screen when the Movies section is selected. How does one move vidoes from the Movies category to the Home Videos category?

If that is indeed what he's asking about it is done within iTunes or some other program that can set the 'Media Kind' field in the metadata of the video. In iTunes one right clicks (or control-click) on the video, select the Options tab and change "Media Kind" to "Home Video" and press OK.
