Every tme I download something off of iTunes U, it doesn't show up in my videos or music files. Unless I connect to the computer or actually play it off the page. Has been happening ever since I updated to IOS 6

Have you downloaded and installed the iTunes U app?
yes, I have. It was working fine until I upgraded to IOS 6 a few weeks back.
OK, I'm a little confused. Why are you looking in your music or video apps for iTunes U content? Subscribed courses will be in the iTunesU app. Or am I missing something?
You can download the files off the subscribed courses (for use offline). Before the upgrade to IOS6 I could just go to Videos and find them, now it's not even there.
You now download them directly to the iTunes U app. As of iOS 6 (I think) it has become more self contained and doesn't require interaaction with the Music or Video apps.It is also subscription based.
