contact my calendar administrator? how?

Are you signed in to the Mac through the account which owns the calendar, and is that account an administrator of the computer?

yes this is simply my laptop computer of which i am the owner and i am shown as administrator on system preferences but i am unable to edit the calendar at all due to this stupidity

Apple itself monitors these threads rarely. They tend not to respond here to individual posts.

It is worth making one check. Open Activity Monitor, and locate the line with "Calendar" in it, and check that the owner of the process is the account name you are logged in to your machine with.

If it is not and you can log in to the other account then that is likely to lead to a solution. If you are logged in to the account that owns the process my feeling is that you need Apple themselves on the issue, not a great group of willing folk all of whom have differing levels of skill. Other contributors may have different thoughts for you.

in the activity list my name appears as user it doesn't use the words owner or process

As long as it appears as the user that 'owns' the process 'Calendar' that means that you, that user, are the owner of the process. I agree absolutely that Apple Support is the best route for you. Let us know the outcome here, please, so that others can benefit.
