can I use my gift card balance to make in-app purchases?

As far as I know in-app purchases require a Credit Card...

I tried it and it worked. It has used my itunes credit for an in-app purchase.

It hasn’t worked for me before so I was sceptical but apple have fixed their bug and it works now within the game I used to make the purchase.

What u mean by that? Do you mean the itunes balance credits can not be used to pay in-app purchses? I have enough credits in my app store account but I cannot buy any in-app purchase. It shows that your purchase could not be completed.

You can use itunes credit to pay for an in-app purchase as long as the amount of credit is more than the in app purchase amount.

I did it and it worked.

I think that it needs a credit card attached to the acount of the gift card credit... I don't have a credit card that match the "nationality" of that store **** it! I paid more than 50$ and I can't use them in in apps???
