The 1st generation express draws about 2 watts, a 1st generation exteme draws about 7 watts.
What does the current generation Airport Express draw?

This is the most extensive test that I've seen on the "new" Express, but if there are power numbers in the text, I missed them.
My unsophisticated and cheap Radio Shack multimeter showed about 5 watts when I opened up the package, but this is far from scientific.
The new device runs much cooler than the previous 802.11n 1st Generation version. Now.....if only it had Gigabit Ethernet ports. 😉
