Sorry this isn't fixing your problem, but I have a problem that is interfering with my work, and it is very serious.

99% of websites won't open. The only ones that will work that I know of are: https://gaa-ad.haikulearning.com/ , https://plusportals.com/GEMSAA , of course cannot connect to some websites. , youtube.com , all google related things (google drive, gmail, etc). I sent it to a technical support person in my school, and he worked on it for an hour, but to no avail. The problem doesn't stop on internet browsers, I can't connect to servers as well, such as appstore, so I can't update anything. I found out that if I restarted my computer in safe boot, every website can work, but that really isn't a solution so much as a compromise. Please help me, I tried deleting all my browser caches and history. This is most likely malware.

Software details: El Capitan version 10.11.4

Hardware Details: MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014) Processor 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB.

Oh yeah, for your problem, restarting your system in safe boot and emptying the trash could help.

Open in safe boot by: Shutting down system, then when your boot it up and see the apple logo, hold shift until you can see the login screen.

Adjust your date and time to make sure it's set to automatic.
