What can I do to fix this. I cant bring anything itunes related up without that popup telling me it is currupt, and that I have redue it. Everytimg i have tried, it does the same thing. It was working once so I dont understand what went wrong and where. This is the 5th time redoing itunes, I've even tried restoring old versions. Nothing seems to be working.

The itunes itself, atleast thats what im assuming since it wont allow me to get anything apple related to come up when the ipod isn't plugged in. When it is plugged in, I just keep getting the popup saying itunes version is corrupt since i had itunes set to come up when it is plugged in.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

or

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

I have done that already and it fixed the problem of not being able to get itunes to come up. However, I still cant see my playlists or music that I had. It shows me the playlists and music that no longer appear when I drag a song over to put it back on the ipod, but nothing more.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. This makes 1 look and act more like previous versions. Also go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod>Sync your device>Set up syncing>Sync device manually.

to make sure you are follwoing the right instructions for drag and dropping.

If the songs do not play in iTunes on the computer then y willhave to reimport them into iTunes. For iTunes purchases you can

Neither suggestion is working. The itunes itself is showing old playlists that no longer exist on the ipod, but when I click on devices it shows me everything that should appear in the "on this ipod" tab. Oddly enough, none of it shows up on the ipod Even after repeated sync attempts.
