I mark a piece of mail in mac mail as "junk".
It goes to Junk on my macbook pro but, it goes to my INBOX on my iPhone.
Is there a way to have it go yo my junk bob on my iPhone?

Reads like you're using POP, not IMAP?
Unfortunately, I am using IMAP
Then, in Mail, you want to go to Preferences, Accounts tab, select the account and click on Mailbox Behaviors. What's the setting for "Junk" there? Check, and eventually alter for your needs.
The only option under "junk" is to "store junk mail on server" or not.
Not sure why that would solve my problem but since it is the only option, I uncecked it.

If not then maybe you should update to 10.8.4 with the OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.4 (Combo) updater. Or you can create a Rule to send all Junk mail to the Junk mailbix or the trash.

I have that preference checked and I have that rule created.
I have the latest version of MAIL. Still does not work all the time
Not all mail labled junk goes to inbox but enough of it to be a real pain.
Mail is just not a great program.
