macbook pro graphics card

hey there, I have a macbook pro with 1gb of ram, 1.83 proccessor and i have tried to run final cut pro 4 but i recieve an error message saying i need a agp graphics card. however the same program worked fine on my ibook g4... any suggestions? thanks emma

Two things:

1. The MacBook Pro requires the Universal version of FCP, which is FCP 5.1.

2. There are reports of running the PPC version of FCP 5.0.4 in emulation on the Intel Macs, but not for FCP 4.

Not certain you have an option to do this with FCP4. You have a PCIExpress video card in that laptop.

I am having the same problem with Final Cut Pro HD. Do you know of any software updates that would fix this problem?
