Q: How to make a superdrive work with your iMac?

I work for Apple In FL. So I found it funny when I got a superdrive to plug into my imac because the way I have it set up i cant use

the drive that is the the side. I have a imac 27' about four months old. 2.7 GHz intel core i5. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    If you have an optical drive in your model already, then the USB superdrive will not work on that machine. It only works on models that have no optical drive. Mac Minis, MBAs, the newest iMacs, and certain new MBPs.
