How do I PERMANENTLY /delete/remove Apps I have purchased or trialed (subscription NOT purchased at end of trial period) or downloaded in error on my I-Pad 4 retina display.

To remove applications from your device, hold down the thumbnail/icon on your home page- until the icon begins to shake. Tap on the "X" to delete it (It will still be in your purchase history, but uninstalled from your device). If it is a subscription, you can manage these by following this article:http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098
But these apps still appear in the "Not on this ipad" section of itunes. Is there a way to PERMANENTLY delete them?
You can't. You can, using iTunes on a computer (but not from an iOS device), hide the purchases, but a record of the purchases will remain on the AppleID in perpetuity.
