How do I PERMANENTLY /delete/remove Apps I have purchased or trialed (subscription NOT purchased at end of trial period) or downloaded in error on my I-Pad 4 retina display.

To remove applications from your device, hold down the thumbnail/icon on your home page- until the icon begins to shake. Tap on the "X" to delete it (It will still be in your purchase history, but uninstalled from your device). But these apps still appear in the "Not on this ipad" section of itunes. Is there a way to PERMANENTLY delete them?
You can't. You can, using iTunes on a computer (but not from an iOS device), hide the purchases, but a record of the purchases will remain on the AppleID in perpetuity.
