Ejecting a USB drive without dragging it to the trash bin

On a MacBook Air, is there a way to eject a USB drive other than dragging it to the trash bin? Are there any buttons on the keyboard I can press instead? Thx.

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), Core i7 2GHz, 8GB RAM, 512GB Flash

I usually secondary click on the desktop icon for the drive, then select Eject. You can also click on the tiny eject icon for the drive in the left pane of a finder window.

Command-E is the keyboard shortcut for eject.
