Q: I am in India, can I buy a book from US iTunes Store?

I am in India, can I buy a book from US iTunes Store? I have india issued credit card. Please help as the book I am looking for is not available in Indian iBook library.

    No, you can only buy content from your country's store - to be able to buy from the US store you need a valid billing address in the US and be in the US when buying from it. According to this page only free ibooks are currently available in the Indian store, so I don't think that requesting that the book be added to the Indian store will have much effect (and it also requires the book's publisher to grant Apple a license to sell it there) : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

     

    Is the book available on other ebook apps/stores that you have access to e.g. do you have access to Kindle, Nook, Kobo etc ?
