Mail links produce an error message

Clicking links in emails produces an error message. " No associated application could be found" How can this be reversed please?

iMac, iOS 6.0.1

try copying the link into your browser address and see if it will access then.

I Just deleted Chrome and it is working now. Even though I had Chrome in the background, I think it was interfering. All is fixed now, thank you.
