MBP not booting from hibernation state

I have a MBP mid 2010 whenever the laptop goes into safe sleep or deep sleep and try to reboot it back it laods the grey sreen with an apple icon and the loading bar moving. But hangs when it reaches the last bar and takes forever there without doing anyt
