Hi
My daughter has bought a 3gs which is currently running 4.1. Can it be updated any further and how would she do this? when the phone is plugged into iTunes and we click the update button is just says iTunes is running the latest version and doesn't update the phone.
Can anyone help please?

Tap Settings > General > Software Update
If an update is available there will be an active Update button. If you are current,
then you will see a gray screen with a message saying your are up to date.
