How to stop unwanted audio ads

At the moment I have unwanted audio ads from places like Gamestop playing on my computer. This occurs with no applications running. I looked on the activity monitor and the console and I can't see any culprit. Every couple of minutes some 20 second ad will come on. I'm in the midst of a two day copy of my backup files so I can't just restart my computer which is my next thought. Has anyone else run into this? I run both Safari and Firefox normally and I did install the latest Flash file from adobe yesterday.

I fixed mine. The reason i had audio adverts playing in the background was because i was using web clips on my widget screen. Once i deleted the web clip that had the advert, the problem was solved.

Webclips dont take screen shots, they load the page everytime. If any adverts are on the page they load too.

Hope this helps you out!
