Plastic faceplate replacement?

Does anyone know if Apple does replacements of the faceplates? Mine is not cracked it is just getting scratched and hard to see my videos. I was using a screen protector but like a dummy I took it off to put another on and forgot to put another on before putting it back in my case and when I wiped the vinyl cover over the screen on my case it really messed up the iPod. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for your replies, I will check out the website you posted, I have found another site that will also replace the face it is at www.iPodmods.com I am sure this will void the Apple warranty though. I have looked into Brasso but I have read that it has made some peoples screens worse, I did a google search and found the Brasso website and found that it is a metal polish so I do not see how this will work on plastic so I dont know I might just wait and see what other options come up, again thank you.

Another service that can help with face plate refurbishing for scratched ipods is www.colorenvy.com, they can buff out the scratchesand apply a glossy clear coat, WITHOUT voiding the warranty because they never take anything apart. These refurb jobs look sweet and actually protect better than the original finish.

No, they do not replace cases.
You can remove the scratches with various products.
Cheapest is Brasso.

Restore your iPod nano to new condition with a $4 can of Brasso

Once you remove the scratches, get a case/cover to keep from scratching it more.

I have read on here about brasso so I will most likley have to try that. Are there any third party companys that replace them? Not that big of a deal yet I just dont want this thing to get to where I cannot see it at all. And I do use screen guards and have a case for it, it just took this 1 time of forgetting.

Yeah I figured that, I was looking for a review or comment area on the site but found nothing. I will probably just wait, the scratches are not horriable yet and I have put another screen guard back on that worked great before, I am not that obsesive about it and videos are not my main use for my iPod so it should not be a big problem as long as I make sure that I do not let it get much worse.
