upgraded to OS X and now HP officejet G85 won't work

Just upgrade OS on the iMac desktop to take advantage of iCloud and the two other MacBook Pro and iPad we have, and discovered that the printer driver for the HP Officejet g85 I've been using, won't work any more. I tried to find an up graded driver on line, but no success. Short of buying a new printer, any suggestions?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Hi,

I affraid the HP Officejet G85 is no longer compatible with any of the latest OS X versions.


You may try the 3rd party HPIJS print drivers for printing, be sure to install any of the 3 required downloads and follow the Set Up instructions:

For scanning you may try Vuescan which seems to support the G85:
