Remove Large Exported Movie From iMovie Project?

I was looking at the size of some of the projects in my iMovie Projects folder in the finder. One of them is 3.79 GB in size! Looking inside the package, in the Movies folder there's a file called large.m4v that's 3.74 GB in size.

I don't need this file, and it's taking up a lot of space on my hard drive. So how do I officially remove it? Is there somewhere I can go in iMovie '11 and tell it to trash the exported file?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010) 12GB RAM

sure:

you did Share in iMovie to the socalled MediaBrowser.

that MediaBrowser allows to share all Project btw all iApps.

but it is no real, single 'folder'.

as you noticed, shared Projects are within the Project-file

if your Project is shared/published, there's a lil' icon (lower arrow)

User uploaded file

to remove, goto Share again

select Remove from

select where you like it to be removed, e.g. from the MediaBrowser

poof! - gone 😉

never, NEVER erase or move any files or folders of iM in Finder!

iMovie (iPhoto, iTunes) are basicly data-base.apps - you kill the internal file-management, when doing any operation outside the app(s).
