How much would a new Macbook Air mid-2011 model battery be because my Apple Cares ran out now?

Battery says 'Service Battery' but my 1 year Apple Cares run out now and it's around £200 to buy again from what I remeber so just wondering if I took it in if it's cheaper to pay for a replacement battery if it's available or what?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

From AppleCare's T&C, #4.1.vi:

What is not Covered?

(...) The Plan does not apply to:

(...) Consumable parts, such as batteries, except in respect of battery coverage under APP for iPod or unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials and workmanship;

So, your battery isn't covered anyway if it's victim of normal wear & tear...
