Why does my ipad keep turning off when I am using it?

Mine keeps shutting off too. My problem is that I have hardly any apps and i have 3/4 of space still, plus I only have one app open at a time then close it out, yet I still have to restart it often because it just shuts off. It's a big pain. Not sure what to do because I don't wan have to keep restarting it. Shouldn't have to.

My wife had a similar complaint a few weeks ago. Turns out she was holding it upside down and the power button was pressing against the table. Might not be your problem but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Close All Open Apps... Perform a Reset... Try again...

Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

TThe same kept happening to me but I realisend I had just bought a new case and it is pressing on the button so after moving it off the button it does not do it anymore
