Dec 17, 2012 7:34 AM in response to Csound1by jlizar,Yes. Is there a way to hide all the others so I don't see 12 email addresses in the drop down menu? It takes too long to "find" the one I want.

Dec 17, 2012 7:42 AM in response to jlizarby Csound1,Delete any aliases you made but don't want, system aliases (@me/@icloud etc) can't be deleted, but they can be ignored.
Aliases that you made can be deleted at www.icloud.com>mail>preferences.
Set the "one you use most often" as the default address.

Dec 17, 2012 9:52 AM in response to cmnthrdsby JSC1799,Outside of the main question. All I wanted to do was change my email account preferences from name@mac.com over to name@icloud.com, and the when I open the preferences settings in Accounts - the field for the Incoming Mail Server is grayed out, meaning I cannot edit it. Right now it says "Mail.example.com". All I want to do is update the Incoming and Outging mail server in the Preferences, but it doesn't allow me to.
I thought there was suppose to be an automatic change over for email addresses from @mac to @icloud.
Any suggestions, would be appreciated. Thanks

Dec 17, 2012 10:12 AM in response to JSC1799by Roger Wilmut1,I quote:
In OS X Mountain Lion or Lion v10.7.2 (or later)
- Go to Mail Preferences > Composing.
- Click the Send new messages from drop-down and select the @icloud.com email address you’d like to use.

Try this:
Go to your mail on the iCloud Website: select preferences>composing:
Select your email default and turn off any you do not wish to use .... see below.
