How to Edit .rsrc files (MLion)

Yes what program can edit .rsrc files? I want to know so i can import parts of itunes 11's GUI into 10.7? Like the non circular buttons at the top (11), while still keeping gridview for artist (itunes 10.7) I'm also EXTREAMLY partial to the dark background in 10.7!

MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Yea i know xcode can do it, I just don't know enough.

could you possibly A) name an application like themepark or B) go into minor detail on how i would open itunes.rsrc with xcode and extract image files then recompile it?
