New file at each start ????

I tried what you said without success. Unfortunatly.

At the end it seems that a Tack Pad "bluetooth" connected that I received recently is in fact the cause of this inconvnient folder appearance.

If the tack Pad is disconnected I do not get this folder.

What can I do to get the Tack pad and avoid thi problem.

I do not understand what I have to modify in teh prefrences ?

If you have an idea please tell me.

I apologise but I made a msitake. I wanted to believe that the cause was the trackpad but in fact no. Even without the trackpad the probleme stays.

The only progress I made is that when I start in SAFE MODE the probleme disapears.

But I could not manage what extension is the cause. ??? A clue to find this ?

Austin I nee dyour help. I am lost.

I ran kextstat for both cases: normal and safe start up.

The difference is listed here below.

Where can I find these file to check which one is creating trouble. I believd they were in System/Librarry/extensions but thy are not there ?

Thank you very much but unfortunatly I still do not manage to remove this file which always appears at normal start up.

I ran

kextstat | grep -v apple

First I had to lines related to a new external hard disk and i beleived that was the cause.

I removed from my computer all what I could find with the seagate name, especially one line in System/Library/Extension but without results.

I ran it again and found a line with "Jmicron"

I removes from System/Library/Extension two lines with this name

JMicronATA.Kext

JMpPeripheralDevice.kext

But no results.

I am completly lost.

If you have an idea

I reintalled several time all the system but without suceess.

I plan to remove all the System/Library/extension files and reinstall the System.... do you think its a good idea ?

Yes I had a nice Christmas. It was very sweet in Paris although for us is winter time. I hope yo had also a very nice Christmas.

Effectively I have 3 hard disks connected. One through wifi and two via USBs connections. One of these has 2 partitions and the other has 7. That's why it seems that 9 USB connected disks. One of the first thing I did was to disconnect all the disks. But without impact. The second thing I did was to remove all LaCie softwares (a previous disk that I remove has it was damaged) and even all Seagate sofwtares (the one related to the new disk to replace the Lacie disk). But all this without effects unless I was not able to delete / uninstall all Lacie or Seagate softwares.

As far as the "System Preferences > Accounts > Login items" tem is concerned I have only one application there that is Microsoft Database Daemon. I deleted it seveal time bu it comes back everytime. Anyway I do not think this is the cause as I beleiev it is there from months / years.

Regarding: "HD/Library/LaunchAgents" I have only few items

Regarding "HD/Library/LaunchDaemons" there are also few items

Regading "HD/Library/StartupItems" I have

But in "HD/System/Library/LaunchAgents" there are 73 items, in "HD/System/Library/LaunchDaemons" there are 164 items and in "HD/System/Library/StartupItems" ZERO items. ??????

I am unable to find in all these items which ones are causing troubles. How can I find the differences beween a strat in SAFE MODE and a NORMAL START ?
