How to play ps3 on mac book ?

Hello, is there any way to play PS3 on my mac book pro (retina display)? I saw some video about how it works on the old mac book pro but I am not too sure if it works on the retina display version MBP. Please give me some advice about it. I do not want to buy a TV for ps3 only.
