Why can't I stay logged in to websites anymore?

Websites no longer remember me. Everything from google to amazon to blog sites. Even when I check the "remember me" box I need to log in every time I visit a site. Getting very annoying.

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 6.0.1

In Settings>Safari do you have Private Browsing off and Accept Cookies set to Always?
