iPhone 4S problem since iOS 6 help straight answer please

Hey guys I'm new to forums so sorry of this has been asked befor but I can't find it anywhere.

Basically I had a little trouble before hand but since ios6 my wifi and 3G have turned to crap on my iPhone 4S.

It now and again can't find my router or work router but more issues than that here goes.

Can be connected to router but have no Internet (speed tests pickup nothing)

3G breaks on and off even when in a hot zone for 3G

Wifi even when connected has not got a stable connection and fluctuates a lot eg: on a 900KB/s goes between 10KB/s and 400KB/s randomly and usually the lower end of that scale, happens on 3G aswell but that's understandable

Wifi is solid but sometimes breaks like 3G and causes a game or download to stop or crash.

Now I've tried all things I have found in other posts, resetting network, full backup restore, hard reset, forgetting network ect but none work the or thing I have tried that worked was turning off mobile data whilst on wifi to stop it from the first issue in list where it is connected but not having Internet but I shouldn't have to do that!

Unfortunately my warranty just ran out so failing a fix have I got a legal leg to stand on to get a replacement since it was apple that ****** this up?

Keep checking for a update/fix to but don't know where

I would find that.

Btw my phone isn't jail broken and never has been and I don't intend to either

rant over

Thanks

Like I said I've tried all that several times nothing seems to work, sometimes it does for a day or so then bam

Back to being pants again. And my gf's iPad was brand new and crap from the start. Only thing I can conclude is the iOS 6 fix didn't fix anything but the maps.

I also tried a few different means of rolling back to iOS 5 but without me saving apples signing I can't since they won't sign any now.

So, why exactly did you tolerate this behaviour for a year while the device was under warranty and only now is it such a big issue?

From your own statements, the device had issues prior to iOS6, why were those not addressed with Apple during the warranty?

You have no legal ground to stand on because Apple did not force you to update the iOS on the device. They also provided a one year warranty on the device. They offer an Out of Warranty replacement if the device has failed in some way since the warranty expired.

It had issues yes and I had sent it off for repair it came back with a list of things that were repaired or replaced with nothing on that list.

By that they are saying nothin is wrong with it but yet they didn't charge me for it which they say If I waste there time then they do charge.

Anywhoo it came back still with issues but I can't go to work without my phone boring as **** so I didn't send it off again even tho it would be a waste of time I learnt to live with it

Now after iOS 6 the wifi issues more than anything is unbearable everything else I can maybe tolerate but again I shouldn't have to.

What's this after warranty replacement about then? Am I eligible? The phone itself is in great condition except a bit o rubbing around edges.

That would be because Apple does not repair devices, they replace them.

It's not "after warranty" but merely Out of Warranty... which could mean the device is still in warranty but the issue is the result of user inflicted damage.

Out of Warranty replacement costs are $149 for the iPhone4 and older models, $199 for the 4S, and $229 for the iPhone5. Prices may vary slightly in your country, but will be roughly the equivilant.

Take the device to an Apple store for evaluation. If you politely explain what is going on, they may surprise you at what they can or choose to do in your situation.

If there are no Apple stores in your area, then the only solution is to send it in for evaluation.

Righto I guess I can travel down to Liverpool about 60 mile I think, do you know of no other fixes or maybe know of another update on the horizon? I know a lot of people are suffering with this around my area. Like I said my mrs new ipad does the same thing.

I figured there wouldn't be a miraculous fix its a shame

Since I wanna stick with iphone when my contract ends.
