I recently noticed next to the address bar, there are icons for ebay and amazon. I opened up "customize toolbar" to see if I could remove them but they didn't seem to move. Is there a way to remove these icons from my toolbar?

Try holding Command and dragging them off.
If some extension put them there, or some plugin, you may have to disable/uninstall whatever it is.

No, they're not below the address bar and I'm not referring to the favicons. These icons are to the left of the address bar, in between the two arrows and the plus button.
If they're below the address bar, control-click them and choose Delete. If you're referring to the favicon when you're accessing those sites, not without removing the address bar.

WOW! That worked! Amazing. I wonder why that worked but opening up "customize toolbar" and trying to remove them that way didn't. Anyway, thanks for that suggestion! 🙂
