"All My Files" question

When I select "All My Files" in the Finder Sidebar, it does NOT bring up "ALL MY FILES".

If I right-click it in the sidebar, and say "show search criteria" I find out that it has "kind is document" and "kind is other .com.microsoft."

filled in.

If I remove those search criteria, or change them to "kind is any", I can see all my files.

The thing is, as soon as I close the window, it puts the microsoft nonsense back in.

I've restarted the computer, which didn't do anything.

I've re-indexed my user folder.

if I put in search criteria I want, there's an option to save it, but that creates a new saved search. I can add it the sidebar, and it would work like AMF...

But I just want AMF to work the way it should!

I want to be able to change the default search criteria.

Any tips??
