Why can't I purchase songs on iTunes from another device?

When I access iTunes with my iPhone, I can't purchase anything on iTunes. All of the prices are "greyed out" and nothing happens when I click on the price to purchase. Purchase function works fine with iPad and PC. Have purchased from iTunes before with this phone without problems.
