How to hide app purchases
Is this still correct for the latest version of iTunes?? I have heaps of old apps that clutter the list...

I'm not sure that it's entirely correct (I don't think that step 3, selecting the part of the store, should be there). On the iTunes store home page I select Purchased on the right-hand side of it under Quick Links :
Then from your purchased list select the content type (e.g. Apps) and hover your mouse pointer over the item that you want to hide and an 'x' should appear on its top left corner - click that and it will hidden from that page.
