Time Capsule with Firewire ports?

Looking for more speed. So does anyone know if Apple has any intentions of releasing a Time Machine with firewire ports? If so when and as a side note when did Apple upgrade their Time Capsule to 802.11 and did it make much of a difference in speed or operating capabilities? Thank you for the help.

Time Capsule 802.11n (3rd Gen), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Sorry, but no one on a user-to-user forum will have any information about what a notoriously secretive company like Apple might do. Even if we did, the Terms of Use Agreement for this area....which we all "signed"....does not allow discussions of this type.

All models of the Time Capsule that have ever been offered are 802.11 devices. You must be thinking of some other "feature" here. Please clarify.
