[Critical BUG] Apps start themselves even after terminated manually and do a hardly reset.

I was analyzing some iPhone 5 logs and I noticed a different behavior comparing to other iPhones I had in the past (4 and 4S).

Applications are launched even after manually terminated and hardly reset.

In the iPhone 4 (iOS 6.0.1) and iPhone 4s (iOS 6.0.1), no applications are loaded after doing this procedure, different from the iphone 5 (iOS 6.0.2 and iOS 6.0.1) where all the applications previously terminated are restarted.

Do the test:

  • Quit all applications manually (double click the HOME button, tap and hold any application until the minus sign appears and click this sign to kill all processes / applications) (more information: http://www.imore.com/ daily-tip-close-backgrounded-app-ios-5)
  • After that, do a Hard Reset (Press and hold the Sleep and Home button, when the Apple logo appears release both buttons) (http://www.wikihow.com/Hard-Reset-an-iPhone more information)
  • Now, after the iPhone start double-click the home button and see if the applications closed previously have been started without your intervention.

Regards.
