how do you upgrade memory

My daughter has a Macbook, with 2 gb memory. is it easy to upgrade? If so where can i get information on this? I upgraded my memory on my IMAC and that was easy, but the laptop looks harder to do/. ANy advice

It is Important to get the Correct and Matching RAM


For best performance, fill all memory slots, installing an equal memory module in each slot.

To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
